Drawing as a surveying device and a pluriform practice:

The present exhibition establishes linking relationships based on the ideas of Body/Home/Cosmos and aims to reflect the authorial production carried out during the master’s degree in fine arts, in the field of drawing.

Through the reconciliation of elements found in the domestic sphere, with references and stimuli from diverse fields, this research project assesses one of the most basic human needs, that of knowing where one is located. It moves around the map, in a double gesture: it uses contextual mapping and denounces the structure of whoever is doing it. Throughout its development, spatial, gestural, and metaphorical records that circle around the idea of home were collected and are oriented according to the following nomenclature: the map that situates > the house that is a body > the body that is a situation. In practice, these ideas are explored through diagrammatic and recollecting strategies, in the field of hyperdrawing, where the pluriform takes over. Drawing is understood as a surveying tool, wich thinks and measures reality.

The Body/Home/Cosmos cadence is thought of as a continuous movement of rediscovery, of multiple connections.
