Vozes da Paisagem – Voces del Paisage – The Landscape Voices – Fbaup, 2023
The present artistic investigation stems from the initial premise of taking the house and its surroundings as a study object, allocating other meanings to it.
Firstly, records intented to document the relationship between the body and the house were collected (drawings, photographs, among others). Subsequently, the documentation was developed so that the house and its territory were miniaturized and transformed into a jewlery box.
The relationship Body House Cosmos is commonly thought of in an ascending order. Here, this order is subverted; however, the elements preserve their correlation. Through its reduction and consequent objectification, the house no longer encompasses the body, acquires playfulness and serves as a small model that rehearses and designates the real.
Through the subversion of scales and purposes, the house reveals itself as a transportable and valuable object, thus darning the metaphor that structures the existance of a place.
