Please read these conditions carefully before accessing or using the website. By accessing or using any part of the site, the user agrees to be bound by the conditions set out herein.   <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following conditions define the main information regarding orders, payments, shipping and the care to be taken with purchased pieces.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>These terms and conditions may be updated or modified at any time. Continued access to and use of the website following the publication of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes by the customer.  <\/li>\n\n<li>The user\/customer agrees not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any part of the website\/shop, any piece\/item, digital content, photograph or text published on the site, without express written authorization from me.<\/li>\n\n<li>Customers may purchase products through the online shop or submit specific requests through the website&#8217;s contact page by filling in a form. Please note that these are two distinct processes with different procedures and specificities, which will be explained below. <\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions or requests for clarification regarding these terms and conditions, you may send an email to info@anavalquaresma.com.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"has-large-font-size\">Online shop<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To order one or more items, the customer should use the buttons next to each item to add them to the shopping cart and check out according to the instructions provided on the site.<\/li>\n\n<li>Products in the online shop are sold by Ana Valquaresma, tax identification number 229827861.<\/li>\n\n<li>The online shop operates intermittently, following an authorial logic, presenting limited sets of pieces, whether utilitarian or artistic. There will be unique pieces or a very limited number of copies. All pieces available in the shop are ready to ship.  <\/li>\n\n<li>If a product sells out, as it is a unique piece\/limited edition, it will appear as sold out and may disappear from the shop.<\/li>\n\n<li>The online shop is activated or deactivated depending on the availability of pieces for sale. The periods during which the shop is active will be communicated in advance on the website; customers may subscribe to the commercial newsletter to receive updates on this. <\/li>\n\n<li>At present, items from the online shop can only be sold and shipped within Portugal (mainland and islands).<\/li>\n\n<li>If you reside in any other country, please contact me at contacto@anavalquaresma.com with the product(s) you wish to purchase so that I can respond with a shipping quote.<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"has-large-font-size\">Payments<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Payments are accepted via MBWay, Multibanco, Payshop and bank transfer. Failure to pay for an order within 3 business days of the date on which it was placed will result in its automatic cancellation. <\/li>\n\n<li>All items available in the shop display the sale price inclusive of VAT at the applicable legal rate, excluding shipping costs. This applies to customers residing in Portugal and the European Union. For other customers, the tax situation may differ \u2014 please contact me at contacto@anavalquaresma.com.   <\/li>\n\n<li>I reserve the right to limit or refuse sales\/my services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, for any reason and at any time, where circumstances so require. The prices set correspond to those charged by CTT. <\/li>\n\n<li>Orders with a total weight exceeding 10kg are not available for automatic shipping. For more information on postal parcels, see Postal Parcel (ctt.pt). <\/li>\n\n<li>In exceptional cases where an order requires special packaging \u2014 due to fragility, dimensions or other factors \u2014 the additional packaging cost will be communicated before dispatch and will be borne by the buyer.<\/li>\n\n<li>Orders received are fulfilled up to the limit of available stock. In the event that an ordered product is unavailable, I will notify and fully reimburse the customer for the items that cannot be sent. <\/li>\n\n<li>You will be notified when your order has been dispatched.<\/li>\n\n<li>In the event of loss, I undertake to reimburse the customer for the full value of their order. If the customer fails to collect the order or arrange a new delivery with the distribution partner within the allotted time and the order is returned to the sender \u2014 whether due to absence at the address or any other reason \u2014 the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. <\/li>\n\n<li>Recycled packaging and shipping materials are used.<\/li>\n\n<li>Each order is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and care instructions for the piece(s).<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding <strong>personalised\/off-shop orders<\/strong>:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>As this is a more personalised service, orders will be shipped via the most suitable carrier for the order in question.<\/li>\n\n<li>Recycled materials will be used for packaging, but it may be necessary to build specific structures to protect the work (depending on its fragility, dimensions, and other factors). This service carries an additional cost. <\/li>\n\n<li>Each order is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and care instructions for the piece(s).<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"has-large-font-size\">About the products<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All products in the shop, commissions and works displayed on the site are made by hand. This handmade quality is readily observable and present across all pieces created. As such:  <\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Each object presents slight variations. Even within a series of identical objects, small differences are to be expected. <\/li>\n\n<li>These variations may arise from the characteristics and unpredictability of the techniques and materials used (natural dyeing, hand spinning, weaving, different ceramic firings, printmaking techniques, use of natural pigments, among others).<\/li>\n\n<li>Although pieces are carefully photographed, I cannot guarantee that the object will be exactly as depicted. They are merely similar. Colour variations are also to be expected \u2014 I cannot guarantee that colours will appear exactly as shown on a monitor or mobile screen.  <\/li>\n\n<li>Natural variations present in each work, resulting from the handmade process, are not considered damage, breakage or defects.<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY<\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"has-large-font-size\">Overview <\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following policy sets out the main information regarding returns, refunds and damaged orders. By placing an order in this shop\/site, you are agreeing to and accepting the general conditions described. This policy may be updated or modified without prior notice. It is the customer&#8217;s responsibility to periodically check this page for changes.   <\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For further information and clarification, please contact me at info@anavalquaresma.com.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li class=\"has-large-font-size\">Returns and refunds \u2014 online shop<\/li><\/ul><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract and to be reimbursed for products purchased in the shop at www.anavalquaresma.com, without the need to state any reason, within 14 days from the day on which the customer (or a third party indicated by them, other than the carrier) takes physical possession of the goods. This period applies to the entire national territory, including the Azores and Madeira. <\/li>\n\n<li>I reserve the right not to accept exchanges under any circumstances.<\/li>\n\n<li>I accept returns of pieces that are part of series\/collections while those series\/collections remain available in the shop.<\/li>\n\n<li>The customer may exercise this right through an unambiguous statement, in their own words, by email to contacto@anavalquaresma.com. Before sending the product, please ensure you have contacted me properly. <\/li>\n\n<li>The consumer is solely and entirely responsible for all costs associated with returning the product (shipping and banking costs). All return requests must be sent by registered mail to ensure delivery to my address. I am not responsible for losses or damage occurring during the return shipment. I encourage you to pack and seal products securely, preferably in the original packaging. Returned products must be in the same condition as when they were delivered to the customer, with no sign of use. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the return and refund being refused.     <\/li>\n\n<li>Once I receive the goods, the refund will be processed within 72 hours.
